Not so easy, especially when multiple changes need to be made at once! With its convenient RF and IR control options, the ATON DLA6 Remote Speaker Selector is a much better solution.
Instead of relying on simple impedance correction, ATON DLA’s logic circuitry intelligently monitors the number of active rooms and the sound volume of each room. This means that the maximum available amplifier power is delivered to each room and also protects the DLA amplifier from potentially hazardous load conditions. The high power handling and flat frequency response of the DLA chamber output circuitry’s high-grade electronically controlled potentiometers provide reliable, high-quality performance.
In addition to the expected front panel controls, the DLA6’s RF and IR remote control options exceed those of conventional speaker routers. The first RF remote speaker selector/router in the A/V industry allows volume adjustments at every speaker position – volume, mute, all on/off and unique “soundstage” commands – inside or outside the home 200 feet). Adding optional in-room IR receivers or touchpads allows the DLA6 to be controlled with other audio sources such as CD players, portable media devices, and radio tuners.
