Harmonically enhanced, high-end AD/DA converter
HEDD stands for harmonically enhanced digital device, a breakthrough in signal processing technology. HEDD is designed to remain musically transparent while producing tube/analog sound on the digital platform.
HEDD gives every user working in the digital space the power to bring sound closer to analog than digital.
Among the areas where HEDD can be used are;
It includes CD preparation, workstation inputs and outputs, DAT A/D D/A converter, and an effects generator to create or change warmth in sounds in the digital domain.
HEDD 192 can be used for tracking, mixing or mastering.
HEDD has transformer-less balanced analog inputs and outputs, and transformer-isolated digital inputs and outputs. Separate power transformers are used for analog and digital units.
- High quality, mastering level 24 Bit A/D and D/A converter
- 24 Bit processing
- Adjustable Triode, Pentode and Tape sounds
- Digital I/O, AES and S/PDIF
- External WC Sync input and output
The front panel contains controls for input source, sample rate, and triode and pentode sounds.
If desired, HEDD can be used as an effects device, or as an A/D D/A converter with sound processing processes applied in A/D or D/A converters.
