Bringing new features to an already established keyboard series. For live performance, the Nord Electro 5 HP features a large OLED display, Sample Synth section, split keyboard, and layer features that will allow you to create complex sounds, which will take the user experience to the next level.

With the increased memory, it was possible to integrate the 1 GB Nord Piano library and the 256 MB Nord Sample library into the Nord Electro 5 HP. With all these innovations, the Nord Electro 5 HP has become a unique keyboard for stage use.

Physical drawbars

Nord Electro 5 HP is built on the predecessor, highly successful 4-generation Electro series. Nord always carefully considers requests from its users, and the number one demand from Elektro users has been physical drawbars. This feature makes real-time manipulation of your sounds very simple. Nord Electro 5 HP features updated wheel and rotary speaker simulations from C2D. An optional Half-moon Switch can provide the user with an extremely realistic experience for rotary speaker control.

Nord Electro 5 HP is built on the basis of its predecessor, the highly successful 4-generation Elektro series. In addition, this Electro model features an amazing hammer action keypad with selectable dynamic response curves. The Electro 5 HP offers everything you could want from a stage piano—from grands to uprights, EPs, organs, Whirlys and claves to every classic you can think of. Nord Electro 5 HP features updated wheel and rotary speaker simulations from C2D.

Nor has equipped the Electro 5 HP with brand new features to make it easier to use and useful than ever before, both on stage and in recording. All settings, effects and more are always in front of your eyes on the large OLED screen. The keyboard can be arranged as split organ/piano, piano/synth and synth/organ so that the sounds of both instruments are on the keyboard at the same time. With 256 MBytes of memory, Sample Synth offers a massive library of sample sounds with solid attack, decay, and dynamic control. With the Electro 5 HP, the warmth of analog sound and the reliability of a 5th generation digital machine are presented in perfect harmony.
