Nord Lead 4 features two virtual analog oscillators with two oversampling sound engines, the classic analog waveform mode, and a brand new unique formant waveform. With True Voice Unison, four oscillators per Voice can be stacked to create unique leads, dense pads and full bass sounds. Frequency modulation and Hard/Soft sync options, bell chimes and unique pads are at your fingertips to take sound design possibilities even further.

Filter types include classic Hi-Pass, Low-Pass and 12/24 dB Band-pass as well as newly designed transistor and diode ladder filters that carry all the refinements of the originals. All these filters can be overdriven just like the originals, with a special control that allows them to be overdriven before the effects section.

The Nord Lead 4’s design has many buttons and pots assigned the most important parameters so that your performances are dynamic and impressive. The new “variation” knob allows instant control of any of the synth’s parameters, giving the user unparalleled flexibility during live performance – ever wanted to mute the reverb on a particular chord? Or stop the lead’s LFO at the end of the song? With 7 assignable “variations” per program, you can shape your sounds as you wish, in sync with your music.

Give the finishing touches to your sounds with an extensive library of effects including reverb, delay, tube amp overdrive, talk filter and bit crusher.

Modulation
The LFO can generate 1 square, triangle and 4 different saw and reverse sawtooth waveforms. LFO 1, Filter frequency,  It can be redirected to Osc Mod, Osc Mix, Osc 2 Pitch, Amplitude and FX. Modulation amount is positive or negative adjustable. LFO 1 can be synchronized to the master clock.
LFO 1 can control the arpeggiator’s rate, range and directions. Range: 1-4 octaves. Modelar: up, down, up/down, random, poly. It can be synchronized to the Arpeggio master clock.
LFO 2 frames, normal and inverted sawtooth with LF filtered noise and random ladder waveforms can produce.LFO 2 Filter frequency , to Osc Mod, Osc 1 and/or Osc 2 pitch, Pan and Pulse width can be redirected. The modulation amount can be set to positive or negative. LFO 1 to master clock syncable.
