Nord Lead A1 R analog modeling synth synthesizer
It will change your perspective on the concept. Whether you’re on stage or in the studio, the A1’s revolutionary nature will allow you to create great sounds very quickly – for any type of music. The A1’s unique interface gives you instant access to the sounds you want, while encouraging you to experiment with sounds.
A1 at a glance
- Convenience that fits any use
- Design for fast sound creation and use
- Nord Analog modeling
Unique usability
Large full leads, endless pads, wall-breaking basses, every sound you’re looking for is available on the A1 – and very easy to use. You can create predatory leads with classical oscillator sync and go to the 80s with FM pianos. A1 gives you the tools you need to create any sound you can think of. With 24-note polyphony, you can make all kinds of variations with layers and chords. Speaking of layers; A1 works as a 4-part multitimbral with effects (Ensemble, Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, Ring Modulator, and Drive) that can be used separately for each part.
Design for quick patch creation
The A1 is undoubtedly a great synthesizer, but it is by no means a simplified version of the A4. It represents a new generation of the A1 Lead series. The highlight of this new generation is the ability to create truly unique sounds with ease and use them immediately. The unique eight-configurable oscillator blocks and the new “like” list allow you to quickly find the sound you’re looking for, whether in the studio or on stage. The A1 offers the user four arpeggiators with 4 octave range up/down and random modes. And of course you have the possibility to sync all this to A1’s master clock.
Analog modeling: Nord knows the truth
If you’ve ever heard of Derek Sherinian playing Dream Theater, Billy Idol, or his band Planet X, you know he’s a top-notch tonmayster. Ask Sherinian what he likes about Nord keyboards and he’ll get “organic analog warmth”. And, of course, its tour-proof structure and ease of use. When you buy the A1, you get both the warm sound of an analog machine and the tour-proof structure of a digital machine.
