Professionals know that for critical listening, a monitor control system needs to be as highly transparent as possible. That’s why we gave the Central Station an audiophile-quality, passive signal path without op-amps or ICs, and equipped the S/PDIF inputs with high-resolution, 24-bit, 192 kHz D/A converters.

Central Station uses the highest quality passive components, including military grade, 1% tolerance, metal film resistors; multi-element potentiometer; durable connectors to deliver the highest audio performance. This ensures the most transparent signal path and maximizes dynamic range, frequency response and bedroom while minimizing noise and coloration.

We’ve added many extra features to make your studio work easier and more efficiently. Talk to musicians over headphones and cue buses using the built-in talkback microphone, or connect a dynamic microphone to the XLR talkback input. Use footswitch for hands-free operation. The Mono knob picks up the stereo source so you can check for phase problems, and the Dim and Mute knobs let you dim or dim the speaker outputs without changing the position referenced on your master level knob. To top it off, the included CSR-1 remote lets you manage all this from your desktop.
