New Eris E4.5 two-way active 4.5″ monitors

provides a clean and clear treble response with a highly controlled and precise bass response. Low-frequency converters made of Kevlar, combined with low-mass silk dome tweeters and sensitive class AB amplifiers, result in an extremely versatile and versatile active monitor.

The case of the E4.5 is made of vinyl-laminated MDF. The 4.5″ kevlar LF driver is paired with a 25W class AB amplifier. For high frequencies the 1″ silk dome tweeter is driven by a 25W class AB amplifier. E4.5 series speakers have a frequency response of 70Hz to 20kHz.

Eris E4.5s have both balanced 1/4″ TRS and unbalanced RCA type inputs. You can also connect any portable music player or computer to Eris 4.5s with 1/8″ inputs on the front.

Eris monitors offer 3 EQ controls in the Acoustic setting: High, Mid and Low Cutoff. With these settings, your monitor can be adjusted according to the place where it is placed. Low Cutoff is also useful when used with sub basses.

The

High control is a shelving filter that can increase or decrease signals above 4.5 kHz by as much as 6 dB. The mid control is a peak filter that can increase or decrease frequencies one octave above and below 1 kHz. Low Cutoff, on the other hand, acts as a filter that cuts frequencies below 80 or 100 Hz with a slope of 12 dB/octave. This control is especially useful when the E4.5s are used with a sub bass.

This three position Acoustic field control is a second order, low shelving filter that cuts frequencies below 800 Hz by 2 or 4 dB. Acoustic field control is used to compensate for the high bass response of monitors, especially when placed near walls or corners.

With RF shielding, radio frequency waves affect the circuits of the monitor and an audible noise is prevented. Eris monitors have high temperature protection, output current limiting and subsonic protection. In addition, there is a “soft startup” feature to prevent the “pop” sound heard when the monitors are turned on.
