3 different possibilities for multi-track recording
StudioLive 16 offers three different possibilities for multitrack recording. The SD card recorder on it allows you to record from all inputs at the same time, and allows you to perform virtual soundcheck without the need for a computer. In addition, 38 channels can be recorded and played back when connected to a computer via USB. Finally, 55 channels of recording and playback are available via the LAN port on the AVB protocol.
17 flawless XMAX preamps
Correctly; The 17 Class A XMAX preamplifiers above StudioLive 16 actually look like they belong in the studio environment. With the high headroom and incredibly low noise they provide, the sound produced is of an unexpectedly high quality from any live sound mixer. It’s also incredibly convenient when mixing or recording the same band or show, as all preamp settings can be stored and recalled.
Flex Mixes allow unlimited flexibility for any application
We all know how difficult it is to use the same mixer for different tasks. 16 FlexMix on StudioLive 16 offers a solution for every conceivable application. Flex mixes can be used as Aux mix, Subgroup and Matrix mixes in any way the application requires. Do you need different monitor mixes for a large group? No problem, you can create 16 Aux mixes whenever you want. The same is true for Subgroup (ideal for theaters) and Matrix mixes (for multi-zone venues). In a nutshell, StudioLive 16’s Flex Mixes allow you to adapt your mixer to the job at hand.
LAN outputs provide useful monitoring option for both studio and stage use
With the LAN port on StudioLive 16, it connects to Apple iOS devices and offers a unique remote control. Thanks to this opportunity, you can edit your mix on your iPad while walking around the venue and/or musicians can adjust their mixes on their own phones with the Qmix function.
Advanced processing for EQ, compression and effect
StudioLive series mixers have always come to the fore with their unique effects and processing possibilities (EQ, Compressor, Limiter, gate). With the four built-in effects on it, you can combine reverb, delay and other effects as you wish for monitor mixes, groups and desired channels. In addition, effects can be used as inserts for any 4 channels you want. Finally, there is the possibility of applying vintage EQ and compressor to each channel.
