All the links and controls you need
StudioLive AR8 USB mixers have all the controls and connections to let you mix and record live, in the studio or during rehearsal. They have two mono and two stereo channel level control settings, microphone gain adjustment, three band EQ and more. Next to the main output there is a headphone amp or a monitor mix output that can be routed to the stage. The StudioLive AR8 USB is also a studio mixer, so it has a level-controlled control-room output to drive your listening monitors.
Connect your guitars and basses directly
Many mixers require you to run your acoustic and electric guitars through a DI box before entering the mixer, but StudioLive AR series mixers have high-impedance instrument inputs on channels 1 and 2 so you can input your guitars directly into the mixer.
Super Channel
The unique Super Channel (stereo channel 7/8) allows you to connect up to four analog and digital sources simultaneously. You can connect the output of your media player to the unbalanced RCA and 1/8″ stereo inputs, play stereo from your computer connected via the internal SD recorder or USB. You can even pair your phone with the built-in Blutooth 4.1 feature and play your entire music library over StudioLive AR.
Recording in the studio or on stage, with and without computer
Of course you want to record your performances, studio projects or podcasts. StudioLive AR series mixers offer you two different recording possibilities. The first is to record all input channels and your main mix channel with 24-bit 96 kHz resolution via the 8×4 multi-channel StudioLive AR audio interface, which you can obtain via the computer you connect via USB, and the second is to record your stereo main directly on the mixer thanks to the SD recording interface on StudioLive AR is to record the output. All you have to do is press the “record” button on the mixer.
Playing backing tracks is now easy
Both the integrated USB sound card interface and the SD recorder have functions other than just the recording function. With just a couple of backing tracks, your performance can be heard much more vividly and broadly. That’s why we designed the integrated USB sound card to play two stereo channels. The SD recording interface can play any 32GB MP3 or wav file. Of course, let’s not forget the Bluetooth interface on the mixer, you have the opportunity to play every track on your phone via bluetooth.
Registration is now very easy with integrated software
PreSonus StudioLive AR mixers are tightly integrated with unique software to help realize your creative vision. You can record with Presonus’ “Capture” live performance recording software and edit and mix as you wish with the award-winning Studio One® Artist software. Both programs are provided free of charge with the mixer.
A final touch for professional results
High quality effects are needed for a good mx. StudioLive AR8 has a professional effects processor with 16 presets. Room, hall and plate reverbs, chorus, delay effects and even presets that mimic a studio room with acoustic arrangement make the user warmer and more lively.It offers a distinctive sound. With a dedicated effects return, master level fader and dedicated monitor send button, you can control the amount of effects in your main and monitor mixes. You can disable the effects with optional footswitch.
