Connect your guitars and basses directly
Many mixers require you to run your acoustic and electric guitars through a DI box before entering the mixer, but StudioLive AR series mixers have high-impedance instrument inputs on channels 1 and 2 so you can input your guitars directly into the mixer.
The unique Super Channel (stereo channel 7/8) allows you to connect up to four analog and digital sources simultaneously. You can connect the output of your media player to the unbalanced RCA and 1/8″ stereo inputs, play stereo from your computer connected via the internal SD recorder or USB. You can even pair your phone with the built-in Blutooth 4.1 feature and play your entire music library over StudioLive AR.
Recording in the studio or on stage, with and without computer
Of course you want to record your performances, studio projects or podcasts. StudioLive AR series mixers offer you two different recording possibilities. The first is to record all input channels and your main mix channel with 24-bit 96 kHz resolution via the 8×4 multi-channel StudioLive AR audio interface, which you can obtain via the computer you connect via USB, and the second is to record your stereo main directly on the mixer thanks to the SD recording interface on StudioLive AR is to record the output. All you have to do is press the “record” button on the mixer.
Playing backing tracks is now easy
Both the integrated USB sound card interface and the SD recorder have functions other than just the recording function. With just a couple of backing tracks, your performance can be heard much more vividly and broadly. That’s why we designed the integrated USB sound card to play two stereo channels.
