The
Audio 40 cable series is a completely new design concept from QED laboratories. The cord is mainly designed for low capacitance as defined by QED, a key factor that leads to a high fidelity experience, producing a tight sound and holding the original track. Use our Complementary Conductor Technology ™ and add our Analog Technology ™ to maximize signal integrity and the result is the most innovative connection ever made by QED.
Conductor Technology
This innovation uses two conductors of different diameters to carry the same audio signal. This has the effect of providing an alternative path for high-frequency audio components that would otherwise become a single audio path.
FOAMING POLYETHYLENE DIELECTRIC
Foamed Polyethylene has a low dielectric constant and has been used to reduce the amount of audio signal energy lost due to cable capacitance.
ANALOCTM Locked RCA Plugs
New QED Analog ™ plug is a low-flow current design incorporating small high-purity copper conductors for the usual bulky brass body found in ordinary high-end plugs. This reduces or eliminates the tendency of the changing magnetic field to induce eddy currents, which can affect the micro-timing of the audio signal.
