Based on RØDE’s award-winning NTG-3 technology, the NTG-8 is a broadcast quality RF-bias shotgun microphone that provides increased directionality over a wide frequency range.

All these features make the NTG-8 the ideal microphone for film, television, sports and extreme sports broadcasting, live performance and all professional remote miking applications.

NTG-8, just like the NTG-3, has low noise, uncolored natural sound for both on and off-axis, and RF bias technology that provides resistance to high humidity that hinders the operation of many other microphones.

NTG-8 is painted matte black under high heat and comes with a specially designed SM8 shock mount. The SM8 is designed to offer excellent operational noise isolation, cable management and a variety of mounting options.

Thanks to the waterproof aluminum storage tube that comes with it, it is guaranteed that your microphone will not be damaged during transportation and/or storage. The WSNTG8 windshield is ideal for protecting the microphone from light environmental influences.
