The TEAC A-H01 combines a high-quality D/A converter with a stereo amplifier to create a compact sound system for your home or office. Five stereo inputs are available – 2 analog and 3 digital formats. The Burr Brown digital-to-analog converter supports high resolution sample rates up to 192kHz / 32-bit. The USB 2.0 port can be used with your Mac or Windows computer for sound quality music playback from your music library. Ideal for playing FLAC, WAV, Apple Lossless and other high resolution file formats.

A-H01s are a B & It connects to the speakers via the ICE power stereo amplifier. Heavy-duty, gold-plated binder post terminals connect to speaker wire of any thickness. A subwoofer pre-out for extra punch and a headphone amplifier perfect for private listening are provided.

Compact High Performance / High Output Amplifier
Amplifier circuit, Denmark’s Bang & It uses 50ASX2 by Olufsen ICEpower. High efficiency conversion allows compact size despite high output (60W + 60W) – power comparable to full-size amplifiers. The energy-efficient design minimizes power consumption (34W) compared to approximately 85W consumed by conventional products (45W + 45W).
Expandability and I/O Connector Options Compact Sizes Believe
Despite its compact size, the A-H01 offers all the connecting outputs of a listener except an amplifier designed for use in PC-based audio setups, including two digital inputs (one coaxial and one optical) and two analog inputs. Add to USB port (to connect to PC). Speaker mounts are large tie-down posts that accommodate cables up to AWG8. Speaker connectors also support BANANA plugs and a subwoofer pre-out terminal.

Headphone jack allows users to make noise late at night, neighbors in nearby areas or in other situations where the loudspeaker may disturb others.

Burr-Brown PCM5102 DAC for High Performance and Through Wide Digital Audio Sources
The A-H01 uses a Burr-Brown PCM5102 DAC. After installing the appropriate driver, listeners can connect a Windows or Mac computer with a USB cable, providing a digital signal path to the DAC, turning iTunes or other media players into high-quality audio devices. The A-H01’s features will satisfy even the most demanding audiophiles, including audio sources up to 24-bit/192kHz and support for asynchronous USB.

High Performance Components up to Full Size Amplifiers
The A-H01 includes a motorized volume knob and an aluminum front panel. Other components, including the large post-coupling speaker terminals and the 3-pin power socket, are the same size as those found in full-size amplifiers. These design decisions also suggest the uncompromising approach taken when designing this compact audio unit, as it ensures ease of use and secure connections.

Fan-Less Design for Refined Silence
Efforts to eliminate signal interference for high-quality audio playback mean nothing with a noisy amplifier fan. In order to achieve the dual goals of high performance and compact size – two parameters that conflict with efficient heat dissipation – circuit design and chassis design emphasized the selection and effective placement of potential heat-generating components to ensure the operation of this high-performance compact amplifier without cooling fans.
